D.K.S. - don't "try to feed" the cuttlebone, scrape it onto the food...

some torts won't eat cuttlebone if you just leave it in their
cage with them. Mine wouldn't as a youngster. I would take a
sharp knife and scrape it onto his food. Now he eats chunks
of it when he wants to.

I had this problem. My redfoot would never eat it. So I just scrape it over her food and she chows down.
