Baby crickets?

karosenberg Jan 03, 2004 05:51 PM

As I was cleaning my cages today I found tiny bugs hopping aroud in the humid hides-coconut bark. I tossed all the bark and put in new. Were these just baby crickets or should I be worried?

Chances are if you feed adult crickets they were babies in there. Did you also find cricket eggs? They look like tiny grains of rice. Adults lay those in the moist/humid bedding and they hatch pretty quick. There's usually a lot of them, too.
