Cuttle Bone question

the pet store i go to only has flavored cuttle bones.
could i give the torts a cuttle bone thats flavored?
i have some kind of calcium i think it's called reptical, what do you think would be better?
reptical or cuttle bone?

My personal view on useing a "flavored" cuttlebone would be not to use it. Not that the flavoring is likely to be "poisonous to most animals", but if your tort becomes addicted to the flavor & then the manufacturer stops production your scuppered. At least by only using an "original" type I'm sure you can always locate it from other sources.
As the "flavored/Repcal" is your only choices, I'd stick with the Repcal till I located an "uncontaminated" cuttlebone.

Kmart, Wat-Mart, & most drug stores sell cuttle bone in the bird section of the pet supplies department. Chances are the ones you find there will be cheaper than what's offered at a pet store.
