How do I clean deco...

I've got one of those half log hides and half cocunet shells. Can I still disinfect them in a bleach solution or Nolvason solution like I do my snakes other deco (plastic water dish, plants, etc)? I just spot clean these hides if/when needed, but would like to give a good disinfectant soak every once in a while. Or do I just have to toss these?
