Musks verses Stinkpots

alotus4u_1975 Jun 04, 2003 04:42 PM

I was wondering if there is a difference between a musk and a stinkpot turtle? If so, what is it? I really want a small turtle, max length of 4.5 to five inches. Would either of these fit the bill?

I guess 'musk' could refer to any musk turtle where 'stinkpot' just refers to the common musk. All the North American musks stay really small anyway, though.
