Hey- I have a beautiful thirty gallon vivarium, and a beautiful 16 inch Corn. The humidity in the Viv is constantly around 100%. Is this too humid for my little Corn? If so, is there a small snake that can live in humidity like that? Thanks. Brooks

As far as I know, there is no snake that likes that much humidity.
Some snakes need a high humidity, but the cage always needs to dry out once in a while in order to prevent bacterial build up. It can't be moist 24/7.
You may want to try a different herp in that kind of set up, like some kind of amphibian.

Your setting your corn up for some serious scale rot,not to mention bacteria is going to run rampant.You need a different set up for your corn.A 20 long with a secure top and a heat mat or pad,waterbowl and a couple of hides will take you all the way....Paul.

That kind of humidity can't be good for it. I live in Tucson, AZ where the humidity rarely goes over 20% & then only briefly. My cages are only screen topped, so whatever the humidity is in my apt is the humidity in the cages & I've never had a problem - even with shedding.
