Funny bathing day..

Christyj Jan 04, 2004 11:48 AM

I decided to just put a dish in the girl's tank today instead of their usual bath. there was only enough room for one at a time so it caused a little power tug.

Daisy enjoying her bath and trying to swim..

Slimmy thinks it looks like fun...scoot over

Slimmy wins!

I wish mine enjoyed baths, or water at all for that matter. He treats it as a constant foe which he must escape!

thought you might like to know that Ocho is still quite enjoying his hammock. He comes out of his brumating spot every night to sleep on it.

to give him a "shower" instead? My Teo HATES bathing - she panics and go crazy. When I give her a shower in the sink on the other hand - she looooves it. She relaxes and really enjoys the water. It is a bit tiring for ME holding her under the water - but I'll do anything for her..!

Sort of. He doesn't enjoy the spraying water on his head, so I don't hold him under the faucet...... but if I just hold my hand under him the whole time he's in the tub, it calms him a little bit. Half the time he just uses that as an excuse to scrable up my arm and out of the tub, though. lol

Mostly I'll just hold him and stroke his back while I bathe him, and make bathtime as quick as possible.

Or maybe a rolled up washcloth or hand towel for him to hang on to while in the water. For most dragons that don't like baths, it's a security issue.
