apple juice vs apple cider?

dyskrasia Jan 04, 2004 01:25 PM

Does it matter which one you use to soak pellets? I have cider but I don't want to use it in case you're not supposed to.

Also, before I get a fecal done, what if the poop is runny but not stinky? I notice that when Sid eats crickets, his poop looks kind of sausage-like, but when he eats greens mostly, there's a LOT of runny poop. But then he gets crix again and the poop is solid. So can I safely expect the runny poop to be caused by the collard greens he's eating?

if it's diarrhia like runny, it could mean problems with parasites. However if it is more liquid (clear) fluid with softer but still formed lumps of dark matter, it is fine. I have the same thing happen when I switched to silkworms instead of crickets. The high amount of fluid is just a good indication he is getting all the moisture he needs from his food. Crickets have alot of exoskeleton that can't be digested which is why the dragon's poo is more formed and hard looking.
