Hi

Can anyone tell me how big a dwarf anaconda gets?
I cant find a care sheet for them either

THERE ARE DWARF ANACONDAS???? THERE ARE ONLY GREEN AND YELLOW ANACONDAS AS FAR AS I KNOW.

I saw an advertisement on a dutch marketplace for dwarf anaconda's by a dutch breeder... since i couldnt find any info on them i asked you guys....

I just spoke to the guy who claims to be the breeder and says they reach a max lenght of 2.5 meter

I THINK SOMEONE IS PULLING YOUR CHAIN. IN THIS FORUM THERE ARE ALOT OF ANACONDA NUTS,BREEDERS AND RESEARCHERS. NEVER HAVE I HEARD ANYTHING OF DWARFS. IF I CAN...COULD YOU GIVE ME SOME OF THE NAMES OR WEBSITES THAT MAY HAVE ADVERTISED A DWARF ANACONDA. NOW A YELLOW ANACONDA IS AROUND 3-3.5 METERS. THEY MAY BE TALKING ABOUT THEM.

Yea, it seems that guy is calling the yellow anaconda a dwarf haha. And he also says they dont get bigger then 2.5 meter... good thing i went to this forum before making myself happy in getting ready to buy 2 snakes i´d never have enough room for

he doesnt have a website but i saw an add on a market site where people trade and sell reptiles in my country and i had some email contact with him but it seems he means with dwarf annaconda the yellow anaconda, he also showed me a dutch website which is in dutch language telling about the yellow anaconda aka dwarf annaconda http://www.krista.nl/tekst/Soorten_en_hun_verzorging/Boas/Eunectes_notaeus.html

I have heard of a false anaconda whiich is a type of colubrid

I WENT TO THE LINK YOU GAVE AND THOSE PICS ARE YELLOW ANACONDAS. YELLOWS ARE STILL GREAT SNAKES, JUST GET THEM FROM A GOOD BREEDER AND SEE THE PARENTS TEMPERMENT. NASTY PARENTS=NASTY BABIES. I LEARNED THE HARD WAY...LOL.
