I want to get a Chameleon. I am leaning towards Jacksons.Any of you have any recommendations?

Jackson's, veileds and panthers are all good starters....you might want to consider $$$$ as an important deciding factor...you'll put about the same amount of time into all three....as a beginner i would suggest getting a male.

Get a Panther if you have the money they seem to be nicere then the VLDS and they are alot more colorful

Jacksons and Veileds are both really nice animals. The time required is about the same for both although size is quite different. I don't have much experience with panthers except to say that they're beautiful! My female Jacksons was a little more difficult to care for but my male Veiled is doing wonderfully. I don't recommend them for beginners but if you ever get the chance down the road when you've had a few years experience, look into Mellers! I recently purchased a pair and they're amazing! They need a small greenhouse though. LOL. Chameleons are fun animals and, when set up right, some of the most beautiful animals around. Good luck and check here often. Panthers are great chameleons for beginner.
I just happen to have some cb 4 month olds that need new homes
