substrate

t-bo Jan 04, 2004 05:11 PM

I was wondering what the thoughts on substrate are, I keep my baby beardy on newspaper, is it best to stick to newspaper with RP's too, or are things like orchard bark ok ?

I dont wanna risk anything, so will probably stick to news paper anyway but I just wondered what the feeling was on this..

Cheers.

newspaper will be fine. I tend to like aspen bedding. BUt sometimes will use newspaper if i dont have much bedding left.

Newspaper is probably by far the easiest and cheapest substrate. I personally use Lizard Liner (green felt carpet) because I prefer the looks while I find it easy to clean.

Paper towels. Really cheap and very absorbent.
