What can I feed my cricks?>>>

GeckGirl Jun 04, 2003 05:51 PM

Hey there everyone:
I have two leos, and they are growing up so fast! It's very exciting. I feed them mealworms, and crickets, rotating occasionally so they don't get bored with eating ;O) Is there any foods that I can feed my feeder crickets to keep them living longer, until feeding them to my leos? That is, besides the gutload food you buy in the store. Any fruits, etc.? Thanks.

Chick feed, like from a farm store or co-op. It is full of vitamins and minerals to help baby chicks along and crix do great on it.

i feed mine chick starter(non medicated), carrots, celery, cucumber, potatoes, what ever type of fresh veggie i feel like throwing to them the more variety the more vitamins they will have for your geckos, i also put some calicum and vitamins on the veggies sometimes. i also order by the 1000 i have 10 geckos so petstore crix just ain't enough and i feel out superworms too and i have noticed petstore crix don't live as long. most of importantly keep veggies in with the crickets remove any old veggies.
