If you can't take care of the gecko (ie. taking it to the vet), why did you get it in the first place? If he is very skinny, there may be more things wrong with him. And no, the gecko may breed, but it may also pass this diformity on to it's ofspring. Then you have a bunch of geckos that you have to hand feed. Also, why the heck would you breed geckos if you can't take care of the one that you have?
>>well, i dont really have money to do that, and ive had him for a year and ahalf now. i hand feed him crickets, but he only eats them when he feels like it, which isnt very often. He chows down wax worms, but even coated in vitamins/calcium they dont have much nutritianal value. he kills pinkies them wont eat them, and hes very skinny in the tail. dont get me wrong, i love my leos and have a nice setup, and my female is the most healthy gecko ive ever seen. i was just lookin for the didease. i heard it was called bulge-eye, and they will never mate with this. it said it was a deform. i never heard anything about bulge-eye anywhere else.
