Each year about this time I put my snakes together so they can stay warm.Invariably they come down with some kind of parasite..a long pink tapeworm.I have now commenced to wearing a hat with a small lantern and checking the cages at all hours. My social life isn't so great, but we all have too much money tied up in these things to let a tapeworm infest our snakes,so I dilligently keep watch.

Sure enough, about an hour ago one of those suckers tried to sneak out of an Albino male and infest a hypo female,so I hurried and snipped it in two pieces with my scissors like I always do.Does anyone else have these problems? While I am asking questions, how do you guys get your snakes to breed? I have no success even though I watch for parasite infestation and treat immediately.

I thought it was only my collection that was infested with this dreaded parasite. I tried to keep the whole thing quite..........But, I'm glad you came forward. It gave me the guts to do the same.
P.S. I find a hammer works a lot better. LOL!

It seems that once your infested, they start to affect the brain. Strange as it may seem, I'm afraid it's true-LOL! Take care!

P.S. Tim your just plain One of a Kind!!!(In your case, that's a great thing though)
