Help with rack plans

herpin1579 Jan 04, 2004 08:21 PM

Hello,

I have built one rack, unsuccesfully. I made it out of plywood and each shelf was 48in long and of course it sagged. I now would like to build a rack out of melanine with 8 28qt sterlite containers. I would like them to be one wide and 8 tall. Has anyone built a rack with this size container? Could you please post pics and possibly plans.

Thanks,
Mike

You'll find lots of info on Markus Jayne-style racks on his site and this one. Buy a good saw blade designed for cutting melamine, otherwise you'll get lots of chip-out around your cuts.
