It is not recommended. The beetle's hard shell can cause impaction if your geckos actually eat them.

Mealworm beetles excrete a foul smelling unpleasant tasting substace when mature. Leopard geckos typically find mature beetles very distastful. Sometimes, you can get leos to eat the white freshly emerged beetles as they don't seem as prone to excrete.

my bearded dragon loves the beetles! i think she likes them because of the "crunch"

my geckos just completely ignore them
