Female Cuban boa pic

b3napoleon Jan 04, 2004 10:04 PM

This is the female I will be breeding with the male below. She just shed and ate a pinky rat about 20 minutes ago. She has better color than the male, but he is more irridescant. He is a darker brown, she has about 25 different shades of brown on her from beige to nearly black. She was also bred by Terry of Captive Born Reptiles in Columbus, Ohio, but she is from different parents. She was born in september of 02. I got her to stop biting me, but she still musks almost every time I pick her up. She still seems kind of jumpy, but all cubans are like that as babies. She didn't eat until she was about 3 months old, that is why she is so small. Hope you like the pic.

Beautiful snake. Does the breeder of the snake have a website? Thank you.

b3napolean;

Thank you for providing the link. I love your new boa. Do you have any other photos of it available? I'd love to see more, if you can. I wish it weren't so cold, I'd order one myself.

Joe
