What classifys a snake as being hypo? Is it just a snake color morph with with very little to no black on it?
Yup! Well, that is, when hypo is short for hypomelanistic, which it usually is. A snake can also be hypoerytheristic or hypoxanthic, which means it would have very little red or yellow.

Thanks for the help...I have a few Dumeril's Boas and one is a lot lighter than the rest and all the ventral scales are pretty much white.....Hope to breed and see potential of this snake....
That's the only way to find out... I have a few oddball snakes myself.
