My wife and I are going to New Caledonia for vacation this summer. We want to bring home some geckos, but we can not find any information on the net on New Caledonia Export Laws... Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
If I remember correctly New Caledonia is closed for all export. But even if they were open for export you would have to get all the paperwork done before you wanted to ship. Depending on the species it can take 5-21 days for CITES documents and you would have to be licensed for import/export here in the US but also you would need to be licensed for export by the country you want to export from which can be very nearly impossible.
