Well, I bought two females to go with my male a few months ago. I was told that they could possibly be gravid but over the months neither has filled out any more than when I got them. Well, I get a phone call from my youngest daughter, all excited, telling me that "little one"
its name) was having babies. She had 10 total that we found but 4 of them were about half the size of the other 6. They did not survive. Could they have been premature. The others are doing fine. I was not prepared for babies but I have ordered fruit flies and pinhead crickets. Should be here Friday. I thought I read that they usually won't eat for a few days, is that correct. IF not I will have to send my Hubby off somewhere to get fruit flies or something tiny. Thanks for any info anyone can give me. I will hopefully be able to post pics some day soon.

I used to work in a genetics lab so the fruit fly rearing should fit into our menagerie well
