A quick question

My ball python is around a little more than 3'.

Should he be eating more than a mouse a week?

Thanks
Dom

If it were my ball python, at 3ft, I would definitely have him on rats, probably small to medium. I would have to get a god picture of your snake to see what I would feed it.

Some people don't feed a lot, I do. I like to feed when they will eat.

Feeding one mouse per week is ok, but if it will take two at a feeding try that. Or 1 small to medium rat if it eats rats.

peronally i think your bp should be at a small to med rat weekly...mine have no prob taking down something that size. rats thin out when killed & swallowed. i know bp's have small heads sometimes & dont look like they can take it but they surprise me everytime. if you are uncomfortable stick with the mouse or up it to 2 or 3 mice but i def think that snake could handle a small rat no contest & be thankful for it
