Prasinus eggs...

robyn@ProExotics Jan 05, 2004 06:10 PM

we got another clutch of Prasinus today, that is quite exciting

our first (good) clutch is still cooking, hatching in March, give our take a month or two

the female seems to be on a nice cycle, so hopefully we will begin again soon.

and no, none of the babies will be for sale, perhaps the next few clutches

we are looking to expand our own colony with these captive babies, it is very cool to think we may be breaking through the invisible wall that has stumped us for quite a few years!

Robyn
I have found that my Tree Monitors (when cycling) lay every 3 months.
I have had terrible success hatching eggs!
What nesting medium are you using? Also what are the nesting temperatures?
My Male Prasinus and Female Beccari continue to breed and lay eggs. As you know I have successfully hatched one of these Prasinus/Beccari crosses. I really want to hatch more of these crosses. Your answers may help.

Something of a regular event for ProExotics, great business and I love to see the pics you guys post. Now hopefully you get a few more species on the list of CBB monitors available.
