this is a pretty large female banded water that I got from a guy at a show who rescued it from a yard. I don't have its length. I would guess 3 1/2 feet tall. I got it about 4 months ago and i was wanting to take some pics of it but i just didn't do it. About 2 months ago it escaped and unbelievable escape. only my 4th snake to escape ever. My dad found it today on the kitvchen floor nearly dead. He put it in a plastic container and put water in with it. This used to be a fat healthy beutifully colered individual. I thought it would be dead by now.
Along with this I got a male that the same guy had rescued. i figure this spring it would be breeding size. Oh and my yellow belly water escaped before it. i have no idea how. They both escaped the same week. I had it in a very tightly close container and kept it in their for quite a while.

Neat snakes...where are they from? Sorry to hear about all your escapes. Snakes are magicians when it comes to getting out of their enclosures. Hope you find the Yellowbelly.

Well i don't really know of the exact location. It was in Alabama. next show if I see the guy I will ask him. Oh I don't think theres much hope for the yellow belly. It was just a little over a year (my guess) I might find it but that will just be one of my preserved/dried specimens.
