Holding to Sex

I know what to look for when sexing, but... How do you actually hold them to see the underbelly? I'm afraid of just flipping them over (Slowly and supporting them still, of course), since they may drop their tails.. How do you guys do it?

grab them around there tummys like inbewteen all their legs. no hard but just enough to keep them in place, if they get to freaked out you should put em down and try again. then just turn over your hand and check.
