here are the babies very speckled and allmost a chain pattern in allot of them all fading to black w/age,nigra are great,,,,,,thomas

You, sir, have excellent tastes in snakes. I have a nigra and you are right, they are great snakes. The easterns are pretty, and your high yellow holbrooki are beautiful. I've never seen ones that pretty and yellow. Thanks for sharing and keep posting pictures!

Awesome Pics. the baby nigras look a lot like normal holbrookis. I have a probable nigra x holbrooki from Shelby County Alabama. He looks very similar to the male you have. He has a lot of speckles, but not enough to be a true holbrooki. I wonder if the integrades make it as far north as Huntsville.

yes i beleive they do,however in my experience the holbrooki tend to be more of a chocolate/dark brown(not black)like nigra,but i have seen some holbrooki that are pretty dark also imho the holbrooki tends to have more cream to yellow specks where as nigra's are usally cream to white specks,,,,,thomas
