I think I still count as new I have only had my new baby for about a month.

1. breeder (Fire and Ice Dragons)
2. Yes, only a couple. Most I asked here.
3. Slow with email responses, did not answer one question about how many times to mist him.

Overall, EXTREMELY pleased with the dragon. He exceeded my expectations in personality and size ( I did not want a hatchling sized dragon and he was much bigger than the growth charts I've seen for a three month old at 60 grams and 11". Color, he is pretty but not to the caliber I see on this forum ( most notably your Florida oranges ) and I paid a decent amount for him. However, I would pay it again for him,as he is healthy and very well socialized and is exactly what I wanted, a superior pet.

Pet store--but i lucked out-got a very nice beardie there---would by from a breeder next time

I bought my first beardie 1 year ago from a pet store. Guess what? He was in poor condition: worms, coccidia, respiratory infection, calcium deficiency, etc (but I love him very much). Now he's about fine... (after many trips to the vet and a lot of $$$).

I bought my second dragon about two months ago from a breeder (Capital Dragon, Canada). The guy was very nice and answered my questions well. My new little girl is growing like weed and I'm very happy about her. Next time I'll definitely buy from a breeder again!!!

When I got my first 2 babies, I got them at Petco. They were so cute & so sweet & they died within 3 weeks from parasites I am never buying animals from a Petco ever again.

I then got my pastel GG beardie from Garrick DeMeyer at Captive Bred Specialities (crestedgecko.com) and he was VERY helpful to me before & after my purchase. I must have sent him 10 emails with questions & he quickly answered all of them.

We never pruchase beardies from pet stores...only from breeders with extensive knowledge and expertise. All of our beardies have come from breeders or the mommies and daddies that we own.
