Hi, when my BALLS TURN BLUE, (just kidding). When my snakes start into a shed, I put wet paper towels in the back of the cage. As soon as I see there eyes turn blue, I wet about 3 paper towels, and lay them in the back, over the heat, I do this everyday, until the shed in complete, and it works for me.

All depends on substrate. Some substrates wet can become breeding grounds for bacteria. And can lead to issues. Cypress is nice for misting. If you use paper towel I would just can the substrate for half the container. And put some wet moss in the hide box. Makes a nice humid hide and also allows the ball to dry out if he wants to.

I would give him a humid hide with damp moss as was mentioned and hang up the pita misting all the time.

In answer to your question. Too high a humidity can create troubles with respiratory infections and skin infections. Rot, blisters, etc.

Failure is not an option. It comes bundled with the software.
