hey i already have 50% of my aquariums covered with pictures...like the back and one side..i was thinking about putting pictures all around but u dont think it would make the snake feel too...i dunno enclosed?...i cant see it really being a problem because then maybe they would feel it being such a threat to be out in the cage...i mean most rack setups in stores have walls on all sides but the front so u can see in and they dont mind..cuz snakes see thermal right? so what would they see the glass as? maybe the pictures would help keep some more heat in too i dunno tho i think ill try it and see how it works..

I have my 20 gallon tank sides and back covered and my snakes seem fine. I did that mostly to have a nice looking background to look at instead of the wall and it makes the enclosures look more natural (depends on what your pictures are). It also helps keep my cats from pestering them to much :0) Seems to me it help keep the tanks warm too but I don't know on that one. I've read some snakes feel vulnerable in an open glass tank. Mine are very content.

yea i have 4 cats runnin around here thats why i was thinking it...and also i wouldnt like to live in a glass house i naturally burrow to my basement hahaha but i think ill try it and see how they like it they might come out more cuz they dont think anything can get at them..ill just have to pick up a few more mags

I don't think it matters to the snakes. As far as I know, most people who keep large numbers of snakes, keep them in those opaque plastic snap lid boxes anyway & they can't see thru them & do alright. Also, for shy snakes it might even be better if they can't see out! - Just a thought!
