What are the odds of getting a decent looking tail regeneration. Do they always grow back as weird looking as the pictures i've seen? Has anybody ever had a regenerated tail that looked just like the original.
Thanks.

Complete regrows tend to be shorter and "sqatier" than the original. The same is true for most regrows where 1/2 or more of the tail is lost. Regrown tips / the last 1/3rd can blend pretty well with the original. Regrown portions will always have a finer scalation than the original, they will lack the bumpy / ringed look of the original.
