Corns and Balls Living In Same Room But Seperate Vivariums

jwalters Jan 06, 2004 01:13 AM

I have a wonderful 2002 corn snake that is doing great. I have been toying with the idea of getting a ball python. These two snakes would be in the same room but NOT the same cage. Nevertheless, I have heard of cases where two snakes of different species and different cages can still cause issues, mating, temperment etc. I am sure many of you corn snaker's out there have balls also, and I just wanted to hear if any of you had trouble in this regard.

And of course, I must post the latest picture of my normal corn Mr. Hat!

Thanks!

I have my corn and a ball python about 2 feet from each other and had never had any sort of complication with it. Neither has changed in behavior since I moved them next to each other, and it's worked out nicely.

Peter: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?
