waterbowl question

I was just wondering what hieght shoudl the water be at for a baby BP? Or if their is some rule of thumb to use?

Just large enough for your snake to soak. One to two inches in height is good. A slightly larger than needed bowl can help to increase humidity. Change it often. Your ball will use it sometimes at its tolet. I like to use filtered or distilled water.

so the whole snake should be able to submerge it self if it wanted? Like if the snake was 1 inch "tall" from the belly to his back, it would be ok for the water to be like 1.5-2 inches?

Yes, as long as it can easily get out, that is ok. It is kind of overkill, because they don't NEED that much, but I put enough that they can get their entire body under, if they want.
