Spot cleaning and bedding change

GregBraidE Jan 06, 2004 06:07 AM

If I spot clean whenever I see my snake deficate or ne signs of it, how long can I leave the same bedding in for. In other words, how long do I have b4 I need to change the bedding?

Depends on how often the snake is defecating. The more often it goes to the bathroom, the sooner you need to change the bedding.

I've heard that once a month is good, but I'm not positive because I don't use loose bedding. I use paper towels as the substrate so I change it out completely every time the snake defecates.
