sgoodson1 Jan 06, 2004 06:26 AM

or a barids x amel motley corn? Looks like we are gonna have some this year, and just wanted to know what people think? This is our first hybrid try and it seemed to work. Thanks Not sure what to expect so any ideas would be great, the male is a south texas barids with amazing colors.

Not to come across as an anti-hybrid troll, because I am not, but I don't see the point in that particualr cross and believe the intermediates would be less attractive than either parnet spieces.

No worries it was not taken as a troll comment i wanted feed back. I have never tried the hybrid thing and we just happen to get in a large texas barids male and i had a extra female who has been lookin for a man. To make a long story shot our female creamsicle was always tring to get in the barids cage, so i let her in and sure enough they went at it. Not sure if it will all come to fruit but was curious none the less. Thanks

Don Soderberg might be able to help. He was doing corn X bairds hybrids a few years ago and might have pics. I think the site is www.cornsnakes.net
