shedding ?

chakup Jan 06, 2004 11:12 AM

I have a male that is about 9 months old and was wondering how long they will usually stay in shed. I am soaking him every other day and he has plenty of stuff for rubbing, I just want to make sure it doesn't turn into a problem.

I don't really think there is a timeline for shedding. When Telamon was young, I think he was in a constant shed for months! By the time he finished shedding his back and face, his hands and tail would start over again! It was a constant cycle.

Soaks will help, though. I think it really just depends on the individual beardie.

p.s. yours is a cutie!

He is colored awesome, but is a pain in the butt. He is slowly coming around with being handled but it is a chore sometimes. I was just curious because his back and parts of legs have been in shed for about a week and not seeing much progress.
