I have 7 painted hatchlings that are now 5 months old. I watched the mommy come up and lay them in my yard and got online to research and find out what kind they were going to be. I have done everthing I was sapose to do. I love them greatly. But now one of them has appearded to become sick. About a week or 8 days ago he stopped eating. That i seemed to notcie. They all come running up or should I say Swim up to me when they are hungry which is everytime they see me. haha . But this one which is the runt of them all, i noticed wasnt fighting to get some of the food , just stayed on the basking area and watched me feed the others. The about 3 days after that I had been trying the wholetime to make sure he was eating which he wasnt, I decided to take him out of the tank and put him in my smaller tank so I knew exactly what he was eating. I would say in the last 7 or 8 days he has ate maybe 2 pieces of shrimp, when I have offered him all of the other foods they eat. He now sleeps all the time, his eyes are always closed. Im really afraid im goign to lose him. Can anyone help me? Have any Ideas? Please let me know.
