black paki cobra pics

djs27 Jan 06, 2004 11:41 AM

Hey everyone,

This black paki cobra is about 4-5 feet long. She hasn't been a very good display animal so far, being very flighty. However, this day, she stood in a hood for about 20 minutes. It was a phenomenal photo opportunity. She stands close to 2 feet off the gound. At times, she leans back so far that she falls over.

It was supposed to be a male from Steve at Serpent's Den, but we probed it female. We'll have to give it another shot. Yet another quality animal from the Serpent's Den. I've never had a bad interaction yet. (thanks Steve if you're reading this).

Enjoy.

However, I would suggest avoiding the descriptor "paki" - in the UK at least, it's a term of racial abuse against people of South Asian ethnicity. Everyone here knows you didn't mean anything like that, but it's something to be aware of. Black Pak or Pak Black might be better.

Cheers,

Wolfgang

WW,

Had no idea. Thanks for the heads up. I'll use different terminology in the future. No offense meant to anyone.
