Is he just a Norm or what? How do you tell?

I'm thinking of also getting a full grown female to put with him.. and I don't know what I should be looking for in another Leo to put with him..

In my opinion a high yellow must be bright yellow, that leo looks more tan beigey, so I'd say it's a normal

yeah and normals have spots everywhere and are darker in color
that leo has a reduced pattern and a higher yellow color..making it impossible to be a normal..i could be wrong though..

I don't see any bright yellow on that gecko. I know some people define hi-yellow as being any gecko with reduced spotting, but for me personally, I don't consider a an animal hi yellow unless it has the clear legs, some reduced spotting, AND a bright yellow color (not pastel yellow, not tan, not beige). You're not alone in your definition, I just have a different definition. I don't think it is so much right or wrong as it is opinion.
