I haven't used it, everyone says to only get the still air kind because the turbofan is bad and dries out the eggs. I'd try to sell it on ebay or something and get the still air one if I were you, if it isn't too late to change your order.

It does dry the eggs out. My first year breeding I had a still air and a turbofan model. I started loosing eggs from the turbofan model and couldn’t figure out why. Once I found the culprit to be the fan I disconnected it. Then it was a still air model and worked great. LOL.

How do you disconnect the fan? You still use yours?

I’m not really sure. My dad is the one that disconnected it for me (this was a long time ago and he’s better at that sort of thing that I am)

I don’t use them anymore. I have moved up to cabinet incubators. Not enough room for eggs in the hovabotor anymore.

STupid turbofan model won't work for leo eggs. I was given one and it would have killed some of my eggs last year if i didn't check temps good. The stupid fan gives off too much heat you won't be able to get it below 95 which will kill your eggs.

Temps and humidity are easy to control in them if you cut the wire to the fan.
