How old is she?

I hatched out a similar looking albino that had a very nice bright yellow and clean white bands.

She's still gorgeous, but is pushing 6 months old and, in the last 2 months, has begun "browning out" and getting more spots.

Do you think yours will stay so bright and clean?

Take about a month ago. You can see the nice yellow, but you can also quite obviously see the brown creeping in.

Do you drop your tempa alot at night? 'I have heard' that not dropping the tems much keeps the colors brighter. But that was heresay and I don't have any proof that it is true...

Here is a pic of one of my 2002 females that I just took yesterday. Judge for yourself. This particular leo was lost in my house in the dead of winter for 5 months, and apparently being chilled has not caused her to go brown.

This female was incubated naturally at 82-84°. When not running around my house from getting loose, she and my other geckos have not been turning brown. I think it's just the stock I started breeding with, it was high end direct from tremper, purchased in 2001. Also my starter male is a hypotang albino, I don't know if that has anything to do with the lack of browning, but I suppose it is a possibility.

I did get one male this year who looks much darker than the rest of my gex, I don't know why...I think that there are always genetic variances and anomalies between individuals.

For some reason, this male is darker than all my other gex, especially his tail. I don't know why this is, I think it's just individual variance/anomaly, though it is possible his parent was a hypotangcthetalbino. He has some nice orange which is breaking through the pink at an early age, and getting some orange on the tail already, so maybe the anomaly will turn out cool-looking. I like the way he looks so far, despite his dark tail.
