Any word from Walt Deptula and the progress of the GHOST COASTAL PLAINS ,etc..???

Jeff Schofield Jan 06, 2004 04:01 PM

I know Walt had the only double hets a while back along with a great many quality animals but he has vanished from the internet the last couple years. On his site he also has anerythristic mandarins, some wierd eastern milks and he was the only one working with the anerythristic Utah Mt kings as well.....Any word from him anyone??Jeff

From were did the amery coastal originate?

Jeff Schofield Jan 07, 2004 01:43 PM

He is from Long Island and lent out the anery 1 year to Walt(who bred it to the hypo).I heard from Steve Fuller a couple years ago that the guy got the specimen back but has been unable to start the babies(hets).Since Steve and Walt both dropped out of sight I am not sure who to even ask about this(locale, etc).Jeff

You might want to try Bob Deptula not because he's related to Walt because I don't think he is but I think he is still in contact with Steve.

Just wanted to see if anyone had heard anything, lol,Jeff

He's still at it but has become one of those mystical figures that everyone believes in, some claim to have seen him, but remains an etherial being. Or just hard to get hold of.
Don't know about the ghost coastals (sorry Jeff) but yes, he still walks the earth and has his collection. Jeff

hey, lucky all the Jeffs here have diff initials.

As far as I understand it the Infrabialis project has all but completely stalled. Walt doesn't want to breed normals as he figures their presents in the market would lead to poaching and the amery has some fertility issue so we're left with nada which is a shame for pyro fans of which I am one.
