How do I keep my basking light from burning out. I go through at least 1 a week. It is 18 inches off the floor of the enclosure. and is 60 watts. It is in a 150 watt reptile light shroud. The other one in the enclosure has never went out

I had that problem some years ago and it turned out I had a short in that fixture. Worth checking out.

What brand of light bulbs are you using? ESU by any chance? Just go out and buy a good quality standard (non-reptile) light bulb. I typically can use a light bulb for 12 hrs/day for 3 or more months.
