I hatched malis eggs last year. My female brumated in the wild so when i got her she was ready to breed with my male. This year i am going to breed them. I finished brumation about a month ago, and now i am waiting for eggs. All you really have to do is put them through a proper brumation, then after that feed the female very fatty foods, and i added extra calcium to the food for the female. I had 2 resting chambers which were boxes under the soil, and the top of the box sticks out so i can open it up and check on them. I took out the sand and added moist vermiculite. I constantly kept the vermiculite moist and she laid her eggs in their. Then i incubated the eggs at 92-93 degrees F, and 76 days later i had 3 malis hatchlings.
