I've recently moved here and am still learning "the ropes" for area herp opportunities. I've found the DFWHS page, and hope to make it to a meeting sometime, but am not very mobile and am in Rockwall. In the meantime, I'd appreciate any advice on GOOD area petstores dealing with reptiles, fancy rodents, or other exotics (all I've been to is PetCo...). I'm also looking for places willing to buy or trade surplus animals (mostly fancy rodents) year-round.
I've been breeding corn and rat snakes for years and hope to resume this spring after a 3 year hiatus- but what is the market for them in the area? I don't want to end up with a hundred little mouths and nobody who wants them! 'Course, I also don't want to inadverdantly do anything illegal, either!
