Have any of you had problems with your geckos anal area? Mine seems to have a bad infection..not the first time. It happened before and I had to remove stuck sand and excretions. It cleared up. Now she has it again..and I hate to put her through that..it's bleeding and she of course can't reach it to lick it, but she tries..I don't know what is causing this and Im hoping someone has an answer and the best way to clear it up..she's clearly uncomfortable..but she does eat and drink..thanks..alisa

It's probably the sand. Sand is not good for Leopard Geckos, use a different substrate.

It sounds like she is impacted. Get her off the sand and don't use it for her again. I don't know to treat it, but if you do a search of the forum for it you should be able to find some suggestions.
