A nice photo of an uncommon boa.......

RioBravoReptiles Jan 06, 2004 08:49 PM

.
Tarahumara or dwarf BCI, born here in July of 2003, still under 12" long in this photo taken two days ago.

I love these boas. They are very colorful, stay small and are very well-behaved. Mom was 39" long and weighed 1.6 kilograms just before giving birth, her second perfect litter.

The more common, but still interesting Sonoran boa has a slightly different look, gets bigger faster and normally has a big attitude.

Thanks for looking!

Could you post a photo of comparisons between a sonoran and a tarahumara side by side? Top view would be cool. I'd like to see what the differences are.

Nice pic!

I love the look of those little guys. They remind me of miniature Argentines (sorta). Please let me know if you ever have any of those available. I'd like to get a pair.
