making my first tank

hey guys whats up ..... i will be making my first tank for my BP but i wanna know one thing so i have to make it like higher but not so wide or should i make it really wide but not so high... i know someone posted a post like that a couple of days ago but i cant seem to find it ... any ways thanx )

BP's tend to be terrestrial, ground dwellers, for this reason I give them as much floor space as caging will permit. I've never had a BP that would climb anything.

In my honest opinion, I would go for the more wide, more floor space. Nearly all of my Ball Pythons prefer to crawl around and/or stay on the floor verses climbing. With that in mind, I would go for more floor space...

From an old car add - means, 'wider is better' - The most I've ever seen a ball python climb is on top of their hides to bask. Other than that, they just like to cruise around the ground, and sleep for most of the day
