Should I get a Gecko?

svinarsk Jan 07, 2004 01:46 AM

Hi there yall,

I have an Iguana that is getting too big for his tank so I thought I might house a gecko in his old tank. Are geckos high maintenance? Do they often have problems (sicknesses)? And since the tank is pretty big... Could I possibly house 2 geckos in the tank at the same time (30 gal tank).

Thanks.

Leo's are pretty low maintenance. They don't need any UV lighting or anything like that. If you could care for a full grown Iggy Leos wouldn't be a problem. If its a 30 long tank you could easily house 1.3,or 1 male ,3 females...
