My female has already ovulated, male has been breeding her like mad. She has darkened up quite a bit. She just recently started going into a shed, does this mean she is gravid? Will the male know when to stop or know when she is gravid? Any responses would greatly be appreciated.

Once she is gravid the male will know his job is done and leave her alone. If she has ovulated this shed should be her post ovulation shed and after she is done it should be about 110 days till birth. good luck
