RETF calling

Eriknl Jan 07, 2004 11:15 AM

Since some time now my RETF are croacking. A few questions on this: is it just a territorial call, how can i hear, or is it just their mating call?

I was wondering the same thing. My whites have just started calling too.

Nope, these calls arent territorial. These are mating calls. You can hear most frogs mating calls. Now you can get a female and breed them and make money.

My eyelash frog, two runnig red leggedfrogs, pacman, toad, retfs are all calling out from time to time--all in the home and sometimes in the middle of the night

Now all of my frogs are housed by themselves so I doubt territorial or mating...my eyelash frog calls out when he's having fun playing in the water. maybe it's just for entertainment in some cases LOL
