Am i reading this right?? A bulb thats supposed to last a year drops from 265 to 65 in 2 months??

it says right above the chart that the mercury vapor bulbs were hard to test because if you moved it just a little the amount of uvb changed because it has uvb hot spots on it.

But those numbers are at 3 inches away, which is not practical in the use of these bulbs. At 12 inches away, the bulb went from 47 to 12 in 2 1/2 months. The intensity of the Reptisun 5.0 fluorescent at 12 inches away is 10 when the bulb is brand new. So I guess the Powersun starts out strong then diminishes to possibly a level that it will remain at for awhile...???? I don't know what will happen in another 2 months, but I'm anxious to find out. I hope it won't drop much more. If the UVB continues to plummet with the Powersun there could be something wrong with the bulb. Remember, I'm only testing one. Testing 3 or 4 would be more accurate, but unfortunately they are spendy and one is all I could afford to buy at a time.
